Information note (School office)

In the coming weeks the period to apply for a place in primary and secondary education will open. Before deciding, many families compare public, concerted and private schools. In general, the differences concern the educational project, the fees, the services (canteen, bus) and the admissions process. In some year groups there is a waiting list, so it is advisable to prepare the documentation in advance and check which subjects and activities the school offers.

To formalize enrollment, the school office sees families by appointment and recommends bringing the family record book or an equivalent document, the padrón and the health card. If the family applies for a grant (for the canteen or materials), they must submit the application within the deadline and keep the receipt. In case of a change of plans, it is possible to renounce the place: if this is done before the deadline, the school refunds the enrollment fee in accordance with the regulations. Last year many families enrolled late because they were waiting for the grant decision or for a place at another institute.
