Para mejorar el proceso, el equipo ha un control de verificación en el punto de salida: una lista breve que debe completarse antes de llamar al mensajero interno. Si detecta un problema, no envíe la muestra y comuníquelo a su departamento con una nota clara en el sistema.
To avoid delays in this week’s tests, the Central Laboratory reminds staff that every sample must arrive identified and with the request form signed. Before sending, check that the tube is properly sealed and that the material is not contaminated. If the analysis requires sterile conditions, follow the unit’s protocol and record the collection time. In the electronic system, select the requested method and attach any relevant observations (for example, whether the patient was fasting or whether the sample was taken under the supervision of an authorized person).

In recent incidents, two samples froze during transport and the results were invalid. In addition, in an applied chemistry experiment part of the reagent evaporated because a cap was improperly placed. To improve the process, the team has introduced a verification check at the dispatch point: a short checklist that must be completed before calling the internal courier. If you detect a problem, do not send the sample and report it to your department with a clear note in the system.

Gracias por avisar. Te confirmo que en nuestro equipo sí se siguió el protocolo de limpieza: todo el material estaba estéril y el frasco se cerró inmediatamente tras el muestreo. La muestra se guardó en frío a 4 °C en la nevera del área de recepción; puedo enviarte el registro de temperaturas si lo necesitas.

No tengo constancia de una incidencia en el transporte, pero voy a consultar con Logística quién la recogió y a qué hora salió. Me parece bien repetir el análisis mañana por la mañana bajo la supervisión de Javier. ¿Qué volumen necesitáis y mantenemos el mismo método analítico?

Thanks for letting me know. I confirm that our team did follow the cleaning protocol: all equipment was sterile and the bottle was sealed immediately after sampling. The sample was stored refrigerated at 4 °C in the reception area's fridge; I can send you the temperature log if you need it.

I have no record of any incident during transport, but I will check with Logistics to find out who collected it and what time it left. I agree to repeat the analysis tomorrow morning under Javier's supervision. What volume do you need and should we use the same analytical method?
