Desde el lunes, el laboratorio central actualizará el de envío de muestras. Antes de mandar cualquier material, el equipo debe comprobar que los tubos están bien cerrados y etiquetados, y que la hoja de solicitud incluye el pedido y el previsto. Si la muestra llega o sin datos completos, no se procesa.

Para conservar la calidad, algunas muestras deben inmediatamente. Ayer una tanda se durante el transporte por un fallo en la nevera portátil y los resultados no fueron válidos. Si ocurre algo parecido, avisa al responsable y registra el incidente en el sistema , bajo la supervisión de tu coordinador.
Starting Monday, the central laboratory will update the sample-shipment protocol. Before sending any material, the team must check that tubes are properly closed and labeled and that the request form lists the requested analysis and the planned method. If a sample arrives contaminated or without complete information, it will not be processed.

To preserve quality, some samples must be frozen immediately. Yesterday, a batch froze during transport because the portable refrigerator failed and the results were invalid. If something similar happens, notify the person in charge and record the incident in the electronic system under the supervision of your coordinator.

Hola, Laura:

Gracias por avisar. Según lo que sé, en mi turno se siguió el protocolo estéril: bata abrochada, guantes y material esterilizado. La muestra 12B la preparó Sergio del equipo de Microbiología; yo no estuve presente en ese paso, así que no conozco si hubo alguna salpicadura.

El método fue el estándar: centrifugado a las 18:10 y posterior conservación en nevera. Las muestras 12A y 12C se congelaron a las 18:45, pero la 12B se quedó en la bandeja unos 20 minutos antes de guardarla. Si quieres, hoy repito la preparación de 12B bajo la supervisión del responsable y te envío el registro completo.

¿Puedes decirme qué parámetro del análisis salió fuera de rango para orientar la repetición?

Hi Laura,

Thanks for letting me know. As far as I know, the sterile protocol was followed during my shift: lab coat fastened, gloves on, and sterilized materials. Sample 12B was prepared by Sergio from the Microbiology team; I wasn't present for that step, so I don't know if there was any splashing.

The method was the standard one: centrifuged at 18:10 and then stored in the refrigerator. Samples 12A and 12C were frozen at 18:45, but 12B remained on the tray for about 20 minutes before being put away. If you'd like, I can repeat the preparation of 12B today under the supervisor's oversight and send you the complete log.

Can you tell me which analysis parameter was out of range so we can focus the repeat?
