El sábado probamos un menú degustación en de Toledo recomendado por una guía gastronómica. La propuesta mezcla cocina internacional con productos locales. Empezamos con y seguimos con varios pases; el servicio explicó cada plato y sugirió un para los entrantes y un para la carne. La carta indicaba el nivel de y el punto de cocción.
En general, el sabor fue excelente y la presentación muy cuidada, aunque un plato me resultó algo . Aun así, salimos satisfechos: todo me sentó bien y el ritmo entre platos fue cómodo. Consejo práctico: si no bebes alcohol, pide la jarra de agua desde el principio; así evitas esperar y puedes comparar mejor los sabores.On Saturday we tried a tasting menu at a restaurant in Toledo recommended by a gastronomic guide. The proposal blends international cuisine with local products. We started with an appetizer and continued with several courses; the staff explained each dish and suggested a young wine for the starters and a reserva for the meat. The menu indicated the level of spiciness and the cooking point.
Overall, the flavor was excellent and the presentation very carefully done, although one dish tasted a bit bland to me. Even so, we left satisfied: everything agreed with me and the pacing between dishes was comfortable. Practical tip: if you don’t drink alcohol, ask for the pitcher of water from the start; that way you avoid waiting and you can compare the flavors better.

- Menú degustación (7 pases): incluye dos aperitivos, pescado y carne.
- Menú corto (4 pases): más sencillo y de menos duración.
También preguntan si queremos maridaje: copa de vino joven o una de reserva. ¿Tú qué prefieres? Yo suelo evitar lo muy picante y la carne poco hecha. Si tienes alergias o alguna preferencia, dímelo y se lo confirmo.

Gracias por el mensaje. Yo prefiero el menú corto porque al día siguiente madrugo y así no acabamos tan tarde. Me gusta la comida con buen sabor, pero que no sea demasiado picante. La carne la prefiero muy hecha.
Sobre el vino, me apetece una copa de reserva, aunque también puedo beber agua si el maridaje es caro. ¿Podrías preguntar si el menú corto incluye algún aperitivo y si es posible cambiar un plato si a alguien no le sienta bien?

Thanks for the message. I prefer the short menu because I have to get up early the next day and that way we won’t finish so late. I like food with good flavor, but not too spicy. I prefer my meat well done.
As for the wine, I feel like a glass of reserve, although I can also drink water if the pairing is expensive. Could you ask if the short menu includes any appetizer and if it’s possible to change a dish if it doesn’t agree with someone?
I don’t have any allergies.
