Last Friday I had dinner with my team at a fine‑dining restaurant downtown. The menu wasn’t large, but it was detailed: it explained the origin of the ingredients and recommended either a young wine or a reserva depending on the dish. We ordered an appetizer to share and, as usual, a glass of water and a pitcher for the table. The cuisine was international, although the side dishes had a homemade touch. Overall the flavours were very good, but one dish seemed a bit bland to me and another was too spicy.

The service was adequate and quick: they brought all the first courses together and cleared the second course when we finished. Even so, I missed that the staff asked how we wanted the meat cooked, because a colleague was served her meat rare and said it made her feel unwell. For a business dinner the place is recommended, but it’s worth checking the menu carefully and, if you drink wine, taking it slowly: the next day no one wanted to have a hangover.
