El Museo Reina Sofía presenta la exposición La historia no se repite, pero rima, que compara la obra Guernica (1937) de Picasso con Guernica africano (1967) de Dumile Feni. La muestra está en el Edificio Sabatini, planta 2, sala 205.08, del 25 de marzo de 2026 al 22 de septiembre de 2026.

El dibujo de Feni, creado en el contexto del apartheid, utiliza figuras simplificadas, un tono casi monocromático y una escala monumental. Ver las dos obras juntas permite comparar sus semejanzas y diferencias y reflexionar sobre la guerra, la discriminación y la opresión. Con una audioguía, la visita podría ser más clara e interesante.
