Several companies are offering it as a benefit because it reduces car use and rush-hour traffic. At our headquarters, parking access will be given priority to employees who carpool or work shifts outside normal hours.
If you come by car, check your insurance and avoid leaving belongings in the trunk in plain sight. Last week several employees arrived late because of a traffic jam on the highway and roadworks in a tunnel. Rather than driving every day, it is recommended to use the bus lane, change trains at the station and walk from the platform.

Gracias,
Laura Gómez

Subject: Works in the parking lot - options for coming to the office
Hi, Marta:
I wanted to let you know that from April 8 to 12 the building's parking will be closed due to works (access to the entrance tunnel). Because of this, we will not be able to use the usual spaces.
Options:
- Public parking “Estación Norte” (10 minutes on foot, next to the Cercanías platform).
- Come by public transport: bus using the bus lane or Cercanías (there is a traffic jam almost every morning on the motorway).
- Telework 1–2 days, if your team allows it.
Please tell me which option you prefer.
Thanks,

Marta
Hi Laura,
Thanks for letting me know. Regarding this week, I prefer to come by Cercanías instead of driving, because there is usually a traffic jam on the motorway and I arrive late if I drive. On Wednesday and Thursday, if that's not a problem, I would telework.
I have two questions: does the company reimburse the public parking “Estación Norte” or do we pay for it ourselves? And if one day I have to come by car, is there any area where I can briefly stop to take the laptop out of the trunk without blocking traffic?
Kind regards,
Marta
