El Hospital Municipal informa: ante una emergencia grave, llama al 112. El centro coordinador enviará una ambulancia y, si hace falta, un equipo de . En otros casos, como un profundo, una extensa o una posible alérgica localizada, puedes acudir directamente a Urgencias. Se recomienda llevar el DNI y, si la tienes, la tarjeta sanitaria.

En Urgencias te preguntarán por tu médico, alergias y medicación habitual. Después, un valorará la lesión y decidirá el tratamiento: limpieza de la , puntos o una . Si te y te diste un golpe, pueden pedir una radiografía para descartar una fractura. Importante: no se atiende por orden de llegada, sino por gravedad.
The Municipal Hospital informs: in a serious emergency (difficulty breathing, severe chest pain, loss of consciousness, or bleeding that does not stop), call 112. The coordinating center will send an ambulance and, if necessary, a team of paramedics. In other cases, such as a deep cut, a large burn, or a localized allergic reaction, you can go directly to the Emergency Room. It is recommended to bring your ID and, if you have one, your health card.

In the Emergency Room they will ask about your medical history, allergies, and regular medication. Afterwards, an on-call doctor will assess the injury and decide the treatment: cleaning the wound, stitches, or an injection (for example, a tetanus shot). If you fell and injured yourself, they may request an X-ray to rule out a fracture. Important: patients are not seen in order of arrival, but by severity (triage).

Hola, Javier:

Gracias por escribir. Estoy en urgencias porque me he cortado la mano cocinando y la herida sangraba bastante. Ya me han limpiado el corte, me han puesto una inyección antitetánica y me han dado puntos. El médico de guardia me ha recomendado reposo hoy y no usar la mano.

No podré cubrir la guardia de 16:00 a 20:00. Si puedes, avisa a Ana y a RR. HH. y diles que mañana te confirmo si puedo trabajar según cómo evolucione la herida.

Hi Javier,

Thanks for writing. I'm in the emergency department because I cut my hand while cooking and the wound was bleeding a lot. They've already cleaned the cut, given me a tetanus shot and stitched it. The on-call doctor has recommended I rest today and avoid using my hand.

I won't be able to cover the 16:00–20:00 shift. If you can, please let Ana and HR know and tell them I'll confirm tomorrow whether I can work depending on how the wound heals.
