Muchas veces leer una factura puede ser difícil. (Many times reading a bill can be difficult.)
Te explico cómo leerla paso a paso. (I’ll explain how to read it step by step.)
En la parte superior están los datos generales, como la fecha de la factura y los datos fiscales para posibles reclamaciones. (At the top are the general details, such as the bill date and the tax details for possible complaints.)
En el centro vemos los servicios contratados. (In the middle we see the contracted services.)
En este caso hay internet y móvil, y un cobro extra por llamadas. (In this case there is internet and mobile, and an extra charge for calls.)
Después se muestra el precio de cada servicio sin IVA. (Then the price of each service without VAT is shown.)
La siguiente columna muestra el IVA del veintiuno por ciento. (The next column shows the twenty-one percent VAT.)
Al final vemos el total con IVA incluido. (At the end we see the total with VAT included.)
En la parte inferior aparece un resumen con el precio sin IVA, el IVA aplicado y el total a pagar. (At the bottom there is a summary with the price without VAT, the VAT applied, and the total to pay.)
Al leer tu factura, asegúrate de que solo te cobren por los servicios contratados, que el periodo facturado sea correcto y que los impuestos sean los correctos. (When reading your bill, make sure they only charge you for the contracted services, that the billed period is correct, and that the taxes are the correct ones.)

Exercise 2: Use the website or the reading text

Instruction: You move into a new apartment in Spain and need to choose a fiber and mobile plan.

Task: Elige dos tarifas y escribe un correo al operador: compara precio, datos/velocidad y explica cuál prefieres y por qué, usando Es mejor que o Te recomiendo que.

(Choose two plans and write an email to the operator: compare price, data/speed and explain which one you prefer and why, using It’s better that or I recommend that.)

Orange ofrece varias tarifas para combinar fibra óptica, móvil y TV. Una opción tiene Fibra de 600 Mb y 1 línea móvil 5G+ con 60 GB de datos por 50 €/mes. También hay paquetes con más servicios: fibra hasta 1 Gb y 2 líneas móviles 5G+ con llamadas y GB ilimitados, más TV y SkyShowtime, por 91 €/mes. Para fútbol y cine hay planes con TV de más de 90 canales y plataformas deportivas, desde 107 €/mes con 1 línea, o 127 €/mes con 2 líneas.

Es importante que revises cuántas líneas necesitas y cuánto consumo de datos tienes. Es mejor que compares el precio mensual, la velocidad de fibra y los servicios incluidos antes de decidir.
