Asunto: Seguimiento de la clase de ayer

Hola, Laura:

Soy Dani, tu entrenador.

Gracias,
Dani

Subject: Follow-up on yesterday’s class

Hi, Laura:

I’m Dani, your trainer. Yesterday you mentioned that at the end of class your chest and throat were bothering you when breathing. To adjust the plan, can you tell me if it happened also at rest or only when exercising? Did you have pain in your neck or in your shoulders?

If you usually monitor your blood pressure or take your temperature, tell me today’s values. If you prefer, we can switch to a gentler session this week.

Thanks,
Dani

Useful phrases:

(I’m writing because yesterday, during class, I started to notice…)

  2. Normalmente suelo… pero hoy he…

    (Normally I usually… but today I have…)

  3. Si te parece, podemos volver a… y evitar… por ahora.

(If you think so, we can go back to… and avoid… for now.)

Hola, Dani:

Laura

Hi, Dani:

Thanks for your message. Yesterday the discomfort in my chest and throat appeared only at the end of the class, when we increased the intensity. At rest at night it was already better. I didn’t have pain in my neck, but I did notice some tension in my shoulders.

This morning I took my temperature and it’s 36.6 °C. I also usually monitor my blood pressure at home: today it was 122/78. I think it may be due to tiredness and stress from work.

If it seems fine to you, this week I can do a gentler session and work on breathing exercises. I’ll stop if the discomfort comes back and I’ll let you know.

Best regards,
Laura
