Wie een dakkapel of uitbouw wil plaatsen, doet eerst de op Omgevingsloket.nl. Daar ziet u of uw bouwplan vergunningvrij is, alleen een melding nodig heeft of dat u een omgevingsvergunning moet aanvragen. Let op: regels kunnen per wijk verschillen en ze ook als u in een VvE woont.

Bij een aanvraag levert u tekeningen en fotos aan en betaalt u leges. De gemeente beoordeelt of uw plan aan het bestemmingsplan voldoet; bij twijfel kan de Welstandscommissie meekijken. De is meestal acht weken. Soms kunt u ook krijgen, bijvoorbeeld voor isolatie. Bewaar altijd de bonnen; anders kan de gemeente een opleggen.
Anyone who wants to place a dormer or extension should first do the permit check on Omgevingsloket.nl. There you can see whether your building plan is permit-free, only requires a notification, or whether you need to apply for an environmental permit. Please note: rules can differ per neighborhood and they also apply if you live in a homeowners’ association (VvE).

With an application you submit drawings and photos and you pay fees. The municipality assesses whether your plan complies with the zoning plan; if there is doubt, the aesthetics committee (Welstandscommissie) can also take a look. The decision period is usually eight weeks. Sometimes you can also get a subsidy, for example for insulation. Always keep the receipts; otherwise the municipality may impose a sanction.

Voor ons buurtproject wil ik een kleine subsidie bij de gemeente aanvragen. Vorige week vroeg ik al toestemming om een informatiekraam neer te zetten, maar ik mis nog een vergunning voor het gebruik van stroom op het plein.
