De gemeente kondigde aan dat er vanaf volgend jaar strengere regels gelden voor verbouwen en slopen. Wie een dakkapel plaatst of een bedrijfspand renoveert, moet eerst controleren of een nodig is. Het nieuwe moet verminderen en verplicht stellen bij grote klussen. De gemeente zegt dat dit helpt om grondstoffen te besparen.

In de toelichting schreef de wethouder dat de regels niet bedoeld zijn om inwoners tegen te werken. Hij zei dat de maatregelen zijn zorgen over hitte, wateroverlast en gezondheid in de stad. Volgens hem droegen veel kleine besluiten samen aan het probleem. Daarom roept de gemeente bewoners op zich voor groene daken en minder afval.
The municipality announced that from next year stricter rules will apply to renovating and demolition. Anyone who installs a dormer or renovates a commercial building must first check whether a permit is needed. The new sustainable policy must reduce pollution and make recycling mandatory for major jobs. The municipality says this helps to save raw materials.

In the explanation, the alderman wrote that the rules are not intended to hinder residents. He said that the measures arose from concerns about heat, flooding and health in the city. According to him, many small decisions together contributed to the problem. Therefore, the municipality calls on residents to commit themselves to green roofs and less waste.

Sinds de overstroming vorig jaar let ons kantoor extra op milieu en gezondheid. Deze maand maak ik een plan om de vervuiling rond het gebouw te verminderen. We stappen af van wegwerpbekers en zetten collega’s aan tot recycling in de pantry. Voor nieuwe afvalcontainers is er een vergunningstelsel van de gemeente, dus ik heb gisteren de aanvraag ingediend. Beste bewoners,

De gemeente heeft na controles gemeld dat er te veel restafval in onze containers zit. Daarom gaat de VvE vanaf 1 juli strenger letten op recycling en op het weggooien van grofvuil. Er komt ook een kleine verbouwing in de fietsenstalling: oude rekken worden vervangen door een afgesloten plek voor PMD en papier. Dit is bedoeld om vervuiling en ongedierte tegen te gaan.

Klopt het dat bewoners straks geen grofvuil meer bij de containers mogen zetten en dat we dit zelf naar het afvalpunt moeten brengen?

Ik heb ook een vraag over de verbouwing in de fietsenstalling: wanneer starten de werkzaamheden en waar kunnen we in die periode ons papier en PMD kwijt? Zijn er tijdelijke containers of een andere plek in het gebouw?
