(Short film review: 'On the Road')

'Onderweg' is een Nederlandse film die vorige week in is gegaan. Ik ben er met collega’s naartoe en we hebben online kaartjes gekocht. De begon op tijd, maar de was te warm.

Het is een mix van drama en komedie. In het probeert een jonge arts na een fout op haar werk opnieuw te beginnen. De hoofdrolspeler speelt overtuigend en de soundtrack past goed bij de spannendste scènes. Toch viel het einde een beetje tegen: het script legt niet alles uit. Ik zou de film als je van ontroerende verhalen houdt.
'On the Road' is a Dutch film that premiered last week. I went there with colleagues and we bought tickets online. The screening started on time, but the cinema hall was too warm.

The genre is a mix of drama and comedy. In the plot, a young doctor tries to start over after a mistake at her job. The lead actor performs convincingly and the soundtrack fits well with the most suspenseful scenes. Still, the ending was a bit disappointing: the script doesn’t explain everything. I would recommend the film if you like moving stories.
