Wie op zoek is naar een korte culturele break kan tijdens de lunchpauze de nieuwe tentoonstelling in het Stadsmuseum bezoeken. De laat zien hoe Nederlandse en portretkunst elkaar . Praktisch: je mag in bijna alle zalen , maar zonder flits. Bij enkele werken hangt een bordje dat fotograferen niet is , omdat het om kwetsbare tekeningen gaat. De meeste bezoekers beoordelen de tentoonstelling positief, al vinden sommigen de route door de wat onduidelijk. Reserveren is niet verplicht, maar op zaterdag is het vast slimmer.
Anyone looking for a short cultural break can visit the new exhibition at the City Museum during the lunch break. The collection shows how Dutch architecture and portrait art influence each other. Some artworks immediately draw attention because of their shape and the use of light. It is quite busy; you will probably have to wait at the most popular room.

Practical: you may take photos in almost all rooms, but without flash. Near a few works there is a sign saying that photography is not allowed, because they are fragile drawings. Most visitors rate the exhibition positively, although some find the route through the gallery somewhat unclear. Booking is not required, but on Saturday it is probably smarter.

Leuk idee! Zaterdag kan ik waarschijnlijk wel. Zullen we om 13.00 uur bij de hoofdingang van het Stedelijk afspreken? Dan hebben we genoeg tijd om rustig naar de tentoonstelling en de collectie te kijken. Die maquettes lijken me erg interessant, dat wil ik graag zien.

Over fotograferen: volgens mij is het soms toegestaan, maar meestal zonder flits of statief. Ik weet het niet zeker, dus ik kijk vanavond even op de website. Daarna kunnen we iets drinken op het Museumplein. Past dat voor jou?
