Het aangeven van de tijd en het aflezen van de klok
Haal je boekOm de tijd te zeggen gebruiken we hoofdtelwoorden en rangtelwoorden in combinatie met voorzetsels, bv. za pięć szósta.
- Tijd kan worden genoteerd in het 12-uursformaat (bv. 7:00 rano, 7:00 wieczorem) of het 24-uursformaat (bv. 07:00, 19:00). In Polen gebruikt men vaker de 24-uursnotatie.
- De uren worden aangegeven met rangtelwoorden in het vrouwelijk geslacht: dziesiąta, dwudziesta druga enz.

Uitzonderingen!
- In de omgangstaal wordt het woord „godzina” vaak weggelaten, bv. jest szósta in plaats van jest godzina szósta.
